In addition, we here at Arc-Zone will be offering E-giftcards during this holiday season.  They start at $25 and go up to $500 and can be purchased online on our webstore or over the phone.  They make a great gift for the welder in your life!

Also, make sure you check out the new MIG section, which is now more extensive than ever.  Arc-Zone.com®’s offering of high-quality MIG Guns, replacement parts and accessories is unsurpassed in the welding industry.  And coming in late January, Arc-Zone.com® will be unveiling an Automated MIG section, which will be geared towards customers who want to streamline their factory and make it run more efficiently.  So be on the lookout and until next time…

Welding Positioners Now Available at Arc-Zone.com!

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

Recently our Sales Manager Tim Drover received a call from a customer looking for a specific type of welding positioner.  The customer had purchased a machine mounted TIG torch and related X/Y mounting hardware from Arc-Zone, and was looking for some info on welding positioners that he could add to his existing equipment to complete his simple weld automation system.  ”I know you guys don’t list those products, but I would appreciate any help in finding what I need…”

At the time we did not carry Welding Positioners; Tim did some research and set up a sales meeting with the manufacturer Gentec Technologies, which is located right up the road in Chino, California. After the meeting, Tim suggested that the EZ weld line of weld automation products, including welding positioners would be an excellent addition to the Arc-Zone line.  The team here at Arc-Zone took his advice and launched a Welding Positioners section.

Arc-Zone.com® offers customers the most complete line of high-quality welding positioners in the industry.  They are designed to optimize your welding procedure by rotating your work piece at a desired angle and speed.  The welding positioners are mainly used for simple weld automation, and they can be utilized for a variety of applications.  Arc-Zone.com® provides light, medium and heavy-duty positioner options to meet your specific welding needs.  Our line of positioners are designed for multiple work piece weights and are outfitted for a weight range of 165lbs. (74.8kg) to 3,300lbs. (1360kg) in vertical positions.   Furthermore, we also offer welding chucks designed to adapt light duty positioners to a variety of different sized work pieces.

In addition to our new Welding Positioners, Arc-Zone.com® now offers Turning Rolls for automated and industrial-sized applications.

TIG Section Undergoes Maintenance Work

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

Arc-Zone founder and owner Jim Watson has recently reorganized the TIG Torches, Parts & More section of the website. The “customer is always right” is an old adage that still rings true today, which is why Jim based the reorganization of the section on customer feedback. All accessory parts are now included on the main landing page of the section. It has improved navigation making it easier to find the parts you need. Items and replacement parts are broken down with different icons for each and an exploded parts view showing each individual component. What this means to you is that it is now easier than ever to view the most complete offering of parts and accessories in the industry, with all the best components now available in one stop!
